power steering block off bolts
yay so i figured out that the bolts you need to block the holes when removing p/s are 12m x 1.25 (<15mm long) for the feed/return lines and 16mmx1.50 pitch for the cooler.
...
...
FOR THE ELECTRONIC SENSING MODEL.
mine being an engine load sensing one (no p/s computer on the steering column) only has 2 holes on the gear now.
neither is 12mm i can tell you that. it seems that the return hole is 16mm, and the feed one (that comes from the 'cooler') is much bigger. does anyone know the size? so i can pick it up at work and get this together so i can DRIVE again? ill check in the morning before work... thanks
tj
p.s. you can see the 2 different diagrams in the manual i believe its section S

You can't just plug off the holes. You need to connect the two lines together so the fluid can flow back and forth as you turn. If the rack was full of fluid and you sealed the hose connections you're not going to do much turning.
