So, I get in my car this morning (89s5). its raining so i turn on the wipers,
they dont work. I apply rain x and start off to work. Than i notice the blower
motor dosen't work either, everything else is fine. I'm sure it must be a grounging
problem. Does any one know where the ground for this circut is?

Did you think to check the fuses? Bad grounds would be the least likely cause.

 

Try this. Turn the wipers on. If they don't work, wiggle the key in the ignition and see if they come on. I assume you already checked the fuses before doing that.

This wiggle the key in the ignition *FIX *to make the wipers come on has been seen on this forum a number of times.

 

Yes, i checked the fuses. The reason i thought about the grounds, is
that both the blower and wipers kicked on at the same time, as i was
driving down the road.

 

Still could be the ignition like Hailers said. My blower will come on if I wiggle the key. Haven't had the time to change the ignition yet.
