power locks question

(1990 rx7 GXL) When I lock the doors, and shut the doors, they unlock, I think its some electrical defect of some sort. I tryed shutting them then locking them, but it acts like there already locked.. So really I have no way of locking the car. any sugestions?

hold up on the handle when you shut the door.
dont know about your other problem.. turn the key the other way? benefit of doubt, i'd say you tried that.

You have to pull the door handle up before shutting it.

And that is not a power lock function... just standard Pre-90's Japanese door lock function.
