power fc troubble

just got my power fc back from japan today it was fried by a shortage in my car the second i left the dyno .... had to get car towed home. installed ecu just now stared up just fine after three months then the car dies try to turn in on something in the motor is ticking like voltage trapped some were. but no on my power fc commander its says connection error just like it did three months ago... i so tiried of this weak stuff happening to me i did this build just right all professional no rink a dink job as all. help me im ready to ripp this out and try something else... dont like power fc

you did fix whatever short you had that killed it in the first place right? Also what setup are you using? Is it the Banzai adapter or do you have the ap engineering unit ?
The ticking can be several things, esp if you have an electronic boost controller you will hear a ticking noise coming from it with the power on to it.

There are 1000's of people running the PFC that have never fried one. If you did not figure out what shorted it out the first time, it was just going to fry again, which it sounds like it did.

There are four major grounds (4A, 4B, 4C, & 4D) if you have voltage backfeeding into any of these it will cook the PFC and you will get a "Connection Error"
