I've got some old pictures before I crashed my vert :'( Due to my little accident (which is to stupid noone would believe me...) I banged up the passenger side quite a bit, and pulled my driverside muffler around to the tire. I don't have pictures of the damage as it's not something I want to remember. I've made good use of body parts from a friends parts car. So now, I've got my '88 gxl vert. It's white with the arctic silver headlight assemblies and front fenders (I replaced the driverside fender to stay semetrical.) I figure the bit of rice it picks up is better than 2 silver headlamp assemblies and a silver passenger fender... My passenger door is still banged up pretty bad, and the rear passenger fender has a small dent i still need to pull out. I did a custom coupe taillight conversion. I fixed my exhaust (punched vert pre cats, punched main cat from an 88 gxl, t2 y-pipe, t2 mufflers. The 6th port actuator line from the main cat didn't reach while fastened to the precat, so I just pulled it tight and fastened it to the main cat and it didn't seem to move much.)
I'd run out and get pictures right now if it wasn't raining... It's down because I wanted to fix my insane vacuume leaks, and see about cleaning my injectors (been running as rich as possible to cover most of the vacuume leaks after trying to tune it up a couple times...) Found out that the guy who owned my car before me had wired the temperature released butterflies in the throttlebody open. (It's a good thing I never just jumped in my car and pushed it...) I pulled the whole intake off and got to my pulsation dampner and found out it was going bad, so my car has been down for a while as I need more car money to buy anything to fix it. While it's down, if I can find the time/space my friend is gona let me port his extra intake do the TB mod, then trade me for my intake on my car now. I wanna do the t2 drivetrain swap (LSD+Beefy tranny, I'm looking for 150mph MAX between my gear ratios and rear end), upgrade the suspension (tokico illumina's would be great rigged to stepper motors so I have dynamic suspension at each wheel, plus I could soften the ride up when I pick up a girl =p) In the end I wanna streetport my engine and put a stock turbo on the car. I don't want more than 7psi of boost. I want my convertible to look good and not be over powered for a car I'm not putting a rollcage in, yet take "daddy's car" on the weekends.
Enough talk, more pictures:

Damn All of you "had" or "have" nice vert's I feel kinda left out being almost the only N/A vert, and also having the least modifications... hopefully I'm gonna get a CF TII Hood and a motor along with it. Since I only recently bought my vert. (About 3-4 months ago) :-)

I liked the vert wheels when the car first came out, but to me, any vert with the original wheels now looks tired and dated.
Any 17 or larger really make the car look fresh.

I like the stock bbs rims but I'm not about to go buy something that 'looks nice' when what I have works good and I've got performance projects to work on. I guarentee that the "tired wornout" stock 15" rims won't look so tired or wornout when they are spinning fast enough =p
Actually, I have quite a few friends who would rather buy a body kit and rims over something to improve driveability. I'll end up getting new rims at some point, I've heard some mustang rims fit the fc's and I have seen this rim that almost looks like a rotor on a mustang. The rims always have to be pointed out to me anyways. =p

I fully agree with the post above. Especially when you replace the little stock turbo with a much larger aftermarket one. As seen in the pic below. Raises the fun factor x1000
