post your premix methods

I just decided to go premix and was wondering what are your methods.
All I understand is to go with premix thats for fuel injected motors and that I should do 1 oz per gallon of fuel. All I know is the reasons that I will go with premix.

If you can post what "brands", "where to buy", "best prices","premix ratio" will really help me out.
For those of you that go with the stock omp & are against premix please don't post your arguments here, there are other threads for that.

I remove the funnel put the gas nozel in and fill to the gallonage I want (normally just under or just over depending on how much cash I have...

I buy the cheap Wal-Mart **** and just pour it in the area where the cap is and let it drain into the tank through the little hole there.

Same here. I figure out how many gallons $40 will get me and then i round up to the next ounce (i.e. 7.7 gallons = 8 oz. or 7.7 oz if you're really **** about it). Put the premix in first and wash it down with gas. Some pumps will choke on it for the first gallon so keep an eye on it. After it all washes down you should be good.

Valvoline Multi-purpose TCW-3

I have a pump screwed on the top of the bottle that pumps approx. 1oz per stroke.

Quick, easy, and mess-free.

I use Valvoline TCW-3 rated two stroke.
I usually put in about 10 oz of oil before they pump it... In oregon they pump the gas.
I pour from the bottle, and use an allen key to hold the little door open. I had a funnel, but left it at a gas station.

The price of premium gas, say 3.65 so I put in about $36.50 or $37 of gas = ~10 gal.

That is all. Funnels make it easier.

pour in, using the "clear" window on the side of the bottle as a measure. Wipe excess. apply gasoline. enjoy.

An old Acetone can with a windshield wiper motor installed in its bottom side with the outlet going to the vent line for the gas tank fill neck. No. No acetone in the can, just that WallMart stuff. Simple on/off toggle switch for the wiper pump. Toggle to ON and do a count of thirty, then Off. The gallon can is located in the rim area of the spare tire.

I still have the stock omp that works fine. I did this *can* thing just because I wanted to. Much like I used to have the stock OMP sucking two stroke oil out of a reservoir in the engine bay (not enough room for a decent size container imho, in the engine bay.

I use Golden Spectro oil. You can get it anywhere dirt bikes are sold. Check ebay, sometimes you can find it cheaper there. I pay about 6 bucks for a 12oz. bottle. I have a little funnel/towel kit in the back to make it neat. I pour the bottle in and then put 9 gallons of gas in. The guys at racing beat use anywhere from 1oz. per gallon to 5oz's per gallon depending on the WHP and how often the motor is rebuilt. The 1oz. per gallon is good for most, but if you are making over 300whp add a little more. occasionally it's fine to run 1oz./per gallon or even a little less if you're in a pinch. the golden spectro is synthetic and in my opinion the best for the job. stephen.
