post your gauge mounts/ gauge mounting solutions!
It seems to me that gauge mounting for the fc is limited to dual gauge pillars or one off and home made mounting solutions...
im getting ready to order some gauges and was just wondering if you guys could
post some different ways you have your gauges mounted. (indash
thanks

I don't have any pictures, but i've seen people set up gauges under the radio. You know, if you have the generic aftermarket kit, the little plastic spacer that would fill up the bottom. That's what I plan on doing at least for temp and A/F meters.

The only part of the car I have not done is the interior, well some of it. Most of it was done by the kids mother I bought this car from several years ago. I have redone some of it. I would not want to takle the seats! Sorry if I misguided anyone.

I think im going to do this and mount them below a cd deck... Did you have to make the panle for the gauges yourself or can you buy it?

Probably boost,a aftermarket coolant temp, exhaust temp, and oil temp. a/f gauges are pretty much worth less but look cool. you can get more info from the exhust temp comeing from your engine then any other source. Regardless if some thing major happens theres a good chance it will be to late by the time it shows on your gauge or gauges to let you know.

It is really easy to make, mine is basically a thin piece of plastic with the holes cut out to fit the gauges. Then 4 mounting screws, 1 in each corner. But I bought that one thinking there was a lil more too it. It was like 15 bucks off ebay, you could do it for about 5 dollars, probably less.
