1 88 vert with 88k miles= $2,500
new shocks and springs= freebee
new tires for stock rims=$400
2 radios( one got stolen)=$600
audio(amps,subs,speaker)=$300
used radiator= $20
TII swap=$1000 initialy and $400 after I blew the motor
Wlboro pump= $80
2 Trannies=$120
Ecu rewire after it shorted=$400
Shifter bushing kit=$30 of ebay (if you have a loose shifter then change the bushings in the lever really stiffens things up and does the nice job of returning the shifter to center)

Price so far $5,850. Seeing peoples faces when you blow of as you beat them in a race in a convertable-PRICELESS!!!!

Im still in the process of buying a 13bre engine and performing a swap since I blew my engine, and I have blown my last TII engine.

I still need to buy the re engine and an EMS. Also a front mount and a new top, with some better rims. Everything should set me back around another $5k prolly the most espensive upgrade to date.

P.s. For those of you that think my prices are low, I used to work at a rotary shop down here which I got hooked up everytime. The $400 that I paid for an engine was that a customer couldnt pay for his build and left his engine, so I picked up a fresh rebuild for $400

1987 SE (gay-o-matic/auto) with 78,627 sat in a garage every winter from the looks of things, and totally rust free: $500
corksport Turbo II tranny: $125

gotta save up a little more to get a nice j-spec 13bt and then a 5 lug swap....probably gonna end up sticking another $2k in it at least to get it to a stock TII/simmilar setup.

Then I'd like to repaint her red, do a full s5 TII exterior conversion, a feed type front lip, and some nice VOLK TE-37's 17x7.5's in gold....

so much money, but at least I'll learn a lot and stay out of trouble.......

I apologize beforehand for any ignorance. This is my first car, and power of deduction states that it's also my first RX-7, but I try to learn. I'm not exactly sure what "FC" you speak of, but I recently bought a 1988 GXL for $500, put new tires on it for about $360, and am taking it to have the exhaust leak looked at tomorrow. I just finished putting around 1200 miles on it yesterday, and I've only had it for a month and a half, so it's running good. I'm pretty sure that's well below the blue book cost.
