If you bring me the engine/drivetrain, and the car to swap into, $1000. IF I have to first PULL the engine/drivetrain from the donor car, add $250.
Damn not a bad price at all. One of these days probably shortly I am going to need you to rebuild my engine and I would probably just when you do that have you put it in a vert. Really not a bad price at all.

I dont have too many of my car. I'll look at posting some up. Yes, I like to wait until the **** is all complete and show ready before taking or posting pics. I'm currently doing the haltech install, just got done with the SS turbo line install. THe new halfbridge engine is in, and ran shortly on the stock injection before I changed.
After my t2 got hit i decided to put alot of the stuff in the vert while the t2 is in the body shop under surgery, i might never drive the t2 again i love the vert so much now.
I can't remember where Mark's post is of his Vert, but he ported it and did a lot and pulled 180 rwhp on his NA vert! That's impressive...no turbo lag...not nearly as much maintenance and a great handling car that would certainly be able to pin you in your seat!
I bet there's some of you guys wishing you had 180 rwhp...then again I bet there are some of you guys that laugh at 180 rwhp
my posts now equal my stock HP

heres a few more of mine, its under gone some big changes since i last posted pics, Ive only just got it back on the road and i am still waiting on a few odds and ends before getting it dyno tuned.
Everything in the engine bay has come out and been cleaned up and powdercoated or painted. the engine is a different one to what i had, It is a used S4 extend port 13b with several internal mods. The other major mod (other than the blue paint) is the fitment of a FMIC, as you can see the piping to it is pretty short, there is no huge difference in lag with this compared to the top mount! its great!
Some of these pics were just progress shots so don't pick on them too much. I will get some decent pics in the comming weeks.

I really like that intercooler Adam. Where did you get it and what are the dimensions? Do you think the frame was weakend by cutting it there? Very nice install!!
Edit: Yeah I just noticed your sig.
Is that a standard size PWR intercooler? Or custom?

Hah... Awesome right hand drive on the vert Adam. How does it feel shifting with your left hand?
EDIT: nevermind, just saw that you lived in Australia. Pay no attention to the illiterate American.

I've only really cut into the radiator support not the chassis. The rad still bolts in as per standard ect.. There is more than enough double layered steel on the section in front of everything to keep everything tight as it should be.
off the top of my head the i/c core is 450mm x 400x 70mm? Look on PWR's website (www.pwr.com.au i think) and look for there 2nd gen i/c. It is the same as the ones on the site, but the outlets were changed to point backwards and i also run it upside down to what they intended. There coolers are the typical long pipes at the lower sides type setup and if i couldn’t of mounted the FMIC like I did I wouldn't of run one at all and would of gone to a water to air setup.
