Possible new car, need some questions answered...PLS!

Well my old 87 TII's coolant seal or some **** was screwed, cause there was oil in the radiator. And the fender is dented. But a guy i know had a 88 TII with a fairly new motor (50,000k). His next door neighbor got in a fight with his old lady and threw his cheatin *** hoe's clothes on this guys carand set them on fire with lighter fluid. From what i saw from the street(not up close) the spoiler is burnt tails are $@#!* and the rear bumper is fubar...so i can switch the bumper and tails off my 87 TII right? He only wants $1000 for the TII and a 240 or 280 that isnt in great shape so i think its worth it. is there any kind of frame or any kind of structural damage in that area that would cost a lot to make it look decent again? Any input is welcomed...

hey, ive got an idea. how about telling me where the guy lives so i can get a tII i really want one. any way, are the tail lights messed up? i cant think of anything back there that could get jacked up enough for you to pass up a tII for a 1000. in fact if you would be pretty slow in the head not to buy it. lol jk, goodluck

The only thing back there that I can think of is the fuel tank. If its still there, then you are good to go.

Depending on pics of the damage it can be worth that, but I wouldnt give that much for it simply because you can buy running non-damaged ones for $2-3k all day long, and youll have more than 2k in paint and body.

BTW where in TN are you?
