Question possible floor board damage

hello, I'm doing a interior swap on my TII and i tore the carpet up the other day and noticed that the center section of both the passenger and drivers foot well area looks to be bent upwards. i looked underneath and you can see that people have used the under brace of the floor boards to jack the car up. but its hard to tell if the insides of the floorboard are supposed to be raised in the center or if they are suppose to be flat.. if you look under the car you see a brace running from the firewall to the rear axle area (front to back) one on each side dead center of where your floor mats would be if someone has there carpet out could you please look at your floorboards on the inside, and tell me if they are flat on the inside or if they raise up where the braces would be underneath. i just want to make sure i beat them down before i install the carpet if they are bent. if i need to i can take pics tomorrow but its easy to tell weather yours are flat if you have your carpet out..... thank you

To be honest, I just wanted to post asking if you used NOS and got some danger to your manifold...

If I remember correctly my floorboards are not flat, but I don't think they mimic the frame rails. A pic would help though.

Should not be raised. Get a large dead blow hammer, and pound it down.

I have owned some 6 or 7 FC's, the only ones that were not flat, were the ones were some idiot owner before me put the jack in the wrong spot.

yeah i kinda figured it was damaged from someone jacking it up there, but its on both sides that's why i wasn't completely sure, however there is damage on both braces underneath the car so it makes sense.. thanks for the reassurance

Yeah, when I got my 10thAE it had the same exact spots messed up.

The owners before me just screwed up and tried jacking in the wrong spots. I ended up rebuilding both rails where the stock jack goes too just because they bent those up with a floor jack
