ports stuck!

So I have recently acquired a s4 vert with 113k miles. I found one of the actuators sitting under my air intake, and have no idea where the other one is. The rod protruding from my lower intake mani is completely stuck and won't budge. Would I need to disassemble my intake mani's and all to get them to open up again? And right now I have a straight pipe, so they wouldn't open anyways. I found a write-up on how to wire them to the air pump and have them activate at specific rpm ranges. Any help is much appreciated!

well the write up only pertains to the s4 because the 5/6 ports were activated via air pump from the factory i believe. heres a link to activate them electrically, but again I dont think it would help with the s5

take intake manifold off. clamp down on the pin with vice grips, and turn them. spray carb cleanr into the ports to loosen the carbon.
