Porting can only get you so much. Even with the most radical porting imaginable, you'll never get the reliable power of any decent turbo system.

The sky's the limit when it comes to forced induction.

14.1 @ 99.8 mph (broke 100 mph later) on my '90 TurboII with a stock j-spec and a full exhaust, AND only running 5.5 psi.

with a street port and proper tuning on an N/A you should be hittin mid to low 14's easy. go ask rocky from RP what his times were and they were high 14's with the stock port. add a littel Nitrous to you N/A street port and 13's and no prob. if you're rebuilding your motor spend the extra $300 (going rate) and get the sucker ported. In the end you'l want both, but money does play an issue and not everyone has lots of it!
