What's the difference between the driver/passenger rear quarter panels on FCs [Also FBs, haven't checked FDs...]? [we're not talking about the gas lid :P]

Sorry if this has been done before, if it has please delete it and PM me.

My friend and I noticed the difference and were curious to see if anyone else noticed...

You're not referring to the lip on the trim below the gas door are you?

That was fast :P

lol.. Yes that's what I'm talking about.

At first we thought the trim was messed up on my friend's vert, but then we checked my vert and her FB and they had it too.

Yeah, that lip is sort of odd. Was it intended to protect the side marker lens from spilled gas? If so, I doubt it's really much good at that.

That's all we could figure out that it might do.. I really like symmetry so it's a bit odd to me for that.. [It would've been nice if both were like that ^_- Or maybe if the lid wasn't right over the marker...]

Anyone noticed any other random oddities on their FCs? [I'm trying to think of anything, but I can't think of one]

My sport had a little bit of every interior color; grey carpet, blue TII seats, red back seats and black demister vents

All the controls on the main instrument panel hood are weird. What other cars have a huge rubber dial for turning on the headlights and another huge rubber dial for the wipers? Then you have the strange little turn signal and cruise control flippers. One of my passengers once commented that the dash looks like a Fisher-Price or Little Tikes kids' toy. Of course, I think it's cool.

Not quite the same kind of weird as different bodyside moldings from left to right, but definitely unusual.
