You get what you pay for. Electronic is better, simple as that. You get more consistant boost, and you get it earlier. Get what you can afford, but if it's not much of a stretch, get the EBC.

BTW, if you don't have complete control of your boost already (i.e. no boost creep), don't get any boost controller until you do.

Go with the EBC. I had a MBC before and it worked but when I switched to EBC the boost would come on alot sooner and hold better.

I voted for Greddy spec 1, but you can get the B spec 2 for around that price now. Either one will work though.

The with the Joe P, the boost should be just as fast as any EBC, it stays completely closed until set boost is reached.

go ebc. the spec 2 you can adjust when your wastegate begins to open along with how fast it opens. you can eliminate boost creep and set it for best spool possible.

Another vote for the B Spec II, I love mine. Nice to have a high/low setting that I can choose without popping the hood like you would with an MBC.

No you can't!

Boost controllers cannot do anything about boost creep. Boost creep is caused entirely by insufficient flow through the wastegate. All a boost controller does is delay the opening of the wastegate. It cannot make it flow any more.
