Fuel Pump Install....any hidden problems to expect

I have a Bosch 61033 (OEM equivalent) fuel pump I'm gonna install Friday. The strainer looks different and all, but I guess that really doesnt matter. It comes with a bunch of little pieces too (o-rings, plastic pieces, etc). I was wondering if I should expect any suprises when I put it in ??? Seems like every easy job I do ends up being an adventure. Thanks

I had to pull my pump last night to find a short... Spray the top screws with PB breaker (better wd40) about five minutes before you go to unscrew them. Then get a screwdriver and a rubber mallet.

Put the screwdriver ont he screw and pound on the top of the screwdriver once. This is the method I used and the screws came out like they had no rust at all (even though they were visibly covered)

That depends on the car, but that's about the only worry you should have.

I've taken my fuel pump out three times now and the screws have held up fine.

Thanks for the input. PB Blaster rulz!

Do I need to change the tank seal? Some info says yes, some say no. My pump kit didn't come with the seal but I guess its a good idea?
