Question Plug Identification

Hey everyone, Happy New Years!

I just got my first FC a couple days ago! I'm new the rotary scene, so bare with me. Here's right after I paid for it.

Now everything seems to be fine to me, but I'm wondering what this loose plugs are for?

There's the white, 2 green and 1 yellow in front of the passenger strut tower. Then there's 2 green ones in front of the driver strut tower.

Thanks for your help in advance!

-Damon

Welcome and nice clean 7 you just bought. Those green plugs are Diagnostics plugs. The white one next to the pressure sensor I'm not sure. There's nothing to connected to mine either, but everything that I need to work, works, in my car so I really don't bother asking. Someone here will come along and finish answering your question.

The white plug would be for the AAS, Auto-Adjust Suspension, which you do not have.

The three prong connector at the pressure sensor is for adjusting the Throttle Position sensor. The single next it turns the fuel pump on when grounded if I remember correctly.

The single connector next to the leading coil is to check engine lights codes when grounded. The six prong connector, again if I remember correctly, is for the special mazda tool that does basically what the single prong one does.

Mmm okay jjwalker! Thanks for clearing things up for me!

& Crazy Driver, I don't think AAS is necessary, is it? Just if you want it?

AAS was not an option, came standard with GXL models only. Not necessary.
