Angry please help theives raped my car!

alright so the headline states it. last night two ******** tried to steal my car. in their stupidity they destroyed my interior, stole my shifter **** and emergency manual sunroof wrench. last and most importantly they broke the key switch. they didnt get the car though, losers! u
so i was wondering
1. how to get the key switch out, looks permanent.
2. if anyone has an interior cheap (broke)
and 3. if anyone has a good shifter.

I hope whoever did it has to watch their families burn to death.
sorry about that but theives should all be killed, especially rx7 thieves.
any help would be appreciated
thanks

instead of buying just a switch from madzatrix,my suggestion is to search out a complete Steering column.they are easy to Switch out and Guys usually sell it with a key..the wiring is all there and therefore you don't have to worry about spicing,ETC..sorry about your car..Dave/STYX.

Tony, you need to learn how to type properly...AND USE THE SPELLCHECK, DAMMIT!

To the OP:

That's damn lame. I've been there before. Just replace the assembly. I have some burgundy interior if that's what you have.
As far as the shift **** is concerned, just grab a cheapie from any auto parts shop until you can replace it with the proper threaded one. If you have an S4 shift assembly, I'd look into replacing it with the S5 unit. Far easier to get threaded aftermarket ***** for the S5 shifter.

sounds easier to switch the column over, damn. I was hoping for something a little easier but its ok. all the fc's at the local junkyards are basiclly stripped clean.
now what goes into switching the s4 shifter with the s5. cause that should also take care of the shifter gasket problem right? I thought the shiters required different transmissions?

also by the way my interior is blue, but all the broken pieces are black anyways.

I don't know if this would be good advice, but its an idea. You could always strip your interior to have a lighter car if you can stand doing that.

That is what I was trying to say,and it is CHEAPER too,IF you get a used column, that would have the Signal cancellation stuff,ETC onit.Otherwise you are looking at a NEW Ignition switch and That will be Way more than a Used Column...a Used Column, may cost MAX75.00..any more than that,It's a RIP!..I had a whole column,Wheel included, and ALL the locks.I sold them for 80 bucks Canadian...Now,the Difference between a s4 and an S5 shifter is Not Much..all it is,is the Threads on top where the Shift **** gets threaded onto the shifter..the S4 **** threads are Bigger than the S5 Shift ****..This would be a good time to go and replace the Shifter with a Shortthrow though!(heh!)..the Threads on a Shorthrow shifter are usually the same as the S5 Shifter(shortthrow Miata Ebay stuff)...unless you get one from Japan, then they could be anything!.I got one that won't accept an S4 or S5 ****!!..anyhow,there!..more info for ya..If you need anymore,Don't hesitate to Ask..pm me if ya want!.

So what do you still need? I have a full burgundy interior in my '86 that is going to be replaced with the black from my 90. The shifter boot is a little worn (199,xxx miles)
