Please Clarify

on my 90' N/A I have what looks to be like 2 TPS's mounted in front of the throttle body. I tested and adjusted the one with the screw on it to 1000 ohms. I was getting a code 12 (full range) and a code 18, now since the adjustment Im just getting a code 18. Narrow range throttle sensor is that the TPS that sits behind THe full range(the one I adjusted) or have I completely confused the **** out of myself please help.

Check resistance across the whole range.
Else, there is a broken wire somewhere.

BTW, the codes are stored until you "clear" them.
Unhook the a battery terminal (negative is easiest) and wait for 5 minutes.
Replace terminal, and this should clear the old code.
