a few more questions/concerns

Well I got some help on another thread on a few things, I installed a ghetto adjustable valve for the ports, so they open now, but the top end on this car still seems like it's slackin. It's an 85 GSL-SE. It was also suggested to me to change my fuel filter, which is what I'll be doing today. Any other reasons why it shouldnt be pulling all the way up to 7 grand?

Another concern is this rod thats on the front side of the throttle assembly, that runs down towards the front middle of the motor. Well when I was messing with things yesterday, I noticed it wasnt hooked up to the TB. Then I noticed it wasnt hooked up to anything. For some reason I think it regulates oil or something, but could you all clarify what it is?

I also noticed that my heater core isnt hooked up. I have 2 spots on the firewall for the hoses to go, but I dont know where they are supposed to come from. Could someone clarify?

Another somewhat simple thing, anyone have a pic of the fuse box cover, so I can see which fuses are for what? Is there a fuse for the radio down there?

Also I'm having a problem with my windows. It seems the switches are kinda messed up. It is normal for the contacts for the switch to be dirty? How would I clean them? The window regulators are kinda laggy too. Do you think greasing them up will help any? They also dont seem to go down all the way, are they suppsed to stay up a little?

Sorry that I'm so full of questions, but I hope you guys can help an old FC owner out. This is my little daily driver til I get my turbo II with e6k and other goods.

Thanks,
Nick.

The rod going down the middle of the motor is probably for the oil metering pump. It should be mounted on the passenger side of the front cover. The rod should hook to that . As for the windows the contacts in the switches are probably dirty, you can take the switches apart and clean them. Just look closely when you take the first one apart so you get it back together right. Putting some grease on the gears in the window regulators probably wouldn't hurt. The widows will stop going down with a little bit still above the top of the door. I hope this helps

Sometimes on teh windows the inner channel can get twisted etc.. and cause the window to bind also. Look down towards the front of the window where the window frame meets the door by the rear view mirror.

So I take the internals of the switch apart and clean it? And how far should it go down (windows)?

How about those fuses, which one is for the radio?
