I have an 86 tranny im putting in my 87 n/a
The seal that slides in the tranny needs to be replaced, where is a place to get that seal?
Is that the output or input seal?

I think you are talking about the transmission rear seal. You can get them on www.mazdatrix.com

 

You are talking about he rear seal at the back end of the trans or the front of the trans. I bought my from a local bearing supply house (much much cheaper than any rx-7 parts place). Bring in the seal or just take down all the numbers off it. The seals aren't mazda special.

picked my rear seal from mazdatrix. If can get it from somewhere else, go ahead and do that. Mazdatrix is nice place to pick stuff up, but they do cost more.
