(PIX) TII/FB 100% custom Wiring. Is this S5 alt correctly wired? S4 trans switches

Hey there second gen section. Got some last minute things I need confirmed on my TII swapped FB.

Check out this thread for detail on the build https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...assis-1033770/

First, did I get this alternator wiring correct??

Obviously the large bolt goes to the battery.

On the connector, the left terminal (closest to B+ bolt) is connected to a switched 12v Ign source (which was built into the universal wiring kit I used). There is no resistor or bulb on this circuit

The right most terminal is connected directly to the B+bolt

Is this correct. Do I need a resistor or lamp on the left terminal? There was no mention of it on the kit, but its a standard GM type kit, not Mazda.

Second; these two switches were on my S4 TII trans.

neither one works as far as I can tell. The big one has two red and two green wires, the little one has two blue wires. I need to wire a backup lamp circuit, which one do I need to replace, and how does it operate? (native open, native closed?)

You do have them switched up as the wire closer to the B+ terminal should run to constant voltage via a fuse at the Engine fusebox and the other wire runs to the Alternator Warning Light Relay in the CPU (S4) or the idiot lights (S5).

Thanks for the info. Ive got wiring diagrams for s5, but without a connector to match up it can be tricky. I may or may not fuse the left one, and Im probably going to add a small lamp to the right one, for diag purposes and to avoid a possible direct short on that circuit.

FYI, this is a American Autowire Power+ 20 harness. GM based. It had a wire on the harness labeled alt/ign, but didnt indicate that is was designed to be used with a warning light.

The reverse switch/neutral switch should be the the one w/four wires. The other switch should be the 5th gear (over the top) switch. Using the advanced search function will tell you everything you need.
