Piping questions...

Two questions

1.) The metal pipe right next to the turbo oil supply metal pipe. It's like parallel and welded to each other.

2.) The heater hose on the passenger side(right) on the radiator and somewhat in the middle. I guess it's either the supply or return for the heater but which pipe does it hook up to?

Thanks

Emissions.
It's from the "purge valve" and charcoal canister.
It takes all the nasty vapors and runs them right before the turbo - this area is always under vacuum, so the vapors get sucked in from there and burned in the engine.

Heater supply.
It hooks to a hose that Y's into the lower rad pipe.
If stock, it's a 90-degree rubber hose about 1/2" in diameter.

5/8" rings a bell.
1/2" sounds too small?
