pinging?

i have slight pinging in the car ad was told by felloww driver to try colder plugs but before he left i forget to aske which ones do i replcae

so guys whuick plugs do i get and replace teh trailing or leaning

and what heat number dhould i get range whoul di get

The following is a free advice piece, from the uninformed masses:

Pinging can't be corrected by going to "colder" plugs on rotaries, can it? was this fellow driver a rotary driver or normal? I thought the normal procedure for correcting pinging was to increase the octane of the gas, and/or the Air/Fuel Ratio if you have that ability? I'm sure someone will be quick to correct me if I'm wrong

yeah he is fellow driver he rebuilds engines and has built 20b FC
those other methods listed are also useable and will help run a hotter engine with out pre detonation. need to bring my engine temp dows right now my engine runs at 205-210 while idleing which is high it should be around 180-190 so i ahve been told

have you checked your piston ring clearance? maybe you just have loose calipers or a clogged O pipe.

P.S. Check blinker fluid level

soory about the bad post but i have edited it and it is much easier to read and not as hurtful on the eyes can u guys please now help me!!
