I had them in white when I purchased my car, I eventually had them removed and had thick black ones placed instead. I like them and I've had tons of compliments about them.

I have 2 black pin stripes on both sides of my 86, but nothing on the hood. I don't think those are stock.

here's mine. If I ever get it repainted I'll probably remove them. The car was repainted some time before I bought it, so I don't know if they are stock or added on.

I think my stripes are the same as the my5ababy's above

meh, I've seen a couple with pinstripes. It's just an 80's car thing. My GTU had its original paint when I bought it and it didn't have them

the 88 gxl has them under the black paint, i hate them, its an unneeded accent to the body line, and it looks gross

your car looks like it was made in paint almost... the way it looks while is ready for paint.. i dunno mainly the front. just thought that was funny.

My car has the pinstripes... i dont like them, i want to get rid of the. I think my (black) rx7 would look better with no stock stickers on it at all.

Pin stripes weren't an option. They were installed by the dealer just to add some dollars to the selling price.

my5ababy's are the ones i've seen the most often those could be factory or a standard mazda dealer add on as I was under the impression pin stiping was done by dealers to raise the price like turbonut stated above
