Questions that need answers..

So i got a 89s5 gxl with a bad motor so i ordered a j-spec s5t2 motor w/tranny, swapped the drivline, rear diff and axles for t2 parts...now im finding out the harness wont reach..so ive been told i can either extend the harness(which isnt supposed to be easy) or i can get a usdm s5t2 harness (which seems like its impoosible to find) but then i cant use the knightsports stg2 ecu i got with the motorand i cant find the harness anyways..let me know if you know where they sell a harness or how to modify mine..im kind of a noob at this but am willing to listen..thanks..

Just extend the wires, Make sure to properly cover them and make sure they are ziptied nice.

If you need to go crazy then remove all the covering for the harness. Check all the wires maybe buy new connectors. Put them in place and rerun all the wires properly, then cover and secure all the wires.

It is easy but it just takes time

Try the "Parts for sale/wanted" section. Occasionally one is there for sale.

Look harder for a LHD harness. You'll save yourself a bunch of hassle and avoid potential mistakes. You don't need a RHD harness you use the Japanese computer because all ECU's of the same series have the same pinout.
