Pics of turbo oil feed setup: RacingBeat adapter.

I wrapped teflon around the threads before screwing things in to further prevent any leakage under pressure. And im just going to use a fuel line for now:

Don't mount it at a 90 degree up angle, there's no point in that. Turn it flat to the back in the picture, that way it'll snake right around the intakes. What's the pressure rating on that hose? I wouldn't suggest using it for very long. High temp & pressure kicks the **** out of hose. I've got some 350F 120PSI rated hose on mine, was used for some sort of forklift hydraulic bleed setup.

What are the advantages of running your turbo oil feed line from this adapter?

It's easy. Doesn't require drilling/tapping. This is on an n/a car, of course. There's no benefit on a tII block.

isnt this the oil pedestal adapter for guages? And can you kindly shrink your pics so your threads are easier to read.

Run 1940x1600 or something. Get a bigger monitor! And yes, that's the adapter plate for gauges, which works just fine as a source for pressure feeds.

I read his sig and I see that he's turbo'ing an NA and thusly needs a high pressure oil source.

Correct, which is why this is a nice and easy way without drilling/tapping your own source on an N/a block. The tII guys already have their source, so not much need for another, unless, twins!?

If you are running a fuel hose, go ahead and get some fuel clamps. Don't use worm gear clamps for higher pressure applications.

Who's using worn gear clamps?

They'll be fine as long as you don't overtighten them and cause them to cut into the hose.

Yes indeed, I've been using them on my fuel hose for quite some time now, ever since I did my emissions and rats nest removal, and have had no problems at all.

Even better idea, instead of using those crappy parts, use high quality earl's fluid connectors and earl's hose. Yeah it's expensive but it's aircraft grade, you'll be happy when it doesn't fail and cause you problems.

Go to Racing Beat's site and look up the Racing Beat oil pressure/temperature adapter plate. That's what he's talking about. Mazdatrix makes one that works too.

All it is is a block that is threaded for gauges, but instead of putting a guage in there you put an adapter in to run the oil feed for the turbo. This way you don't have to tap anything.
