Pics of my turbo oil system.
Well I think I haver partially determined why my turbo leaked oil through the rear seal like a ****.
Oil pressure...
Did you know that on Hitachi's we have an internal restrictor pill????? YUP!
Well the turbo guys had to remove it and destrioyed it in the process. They said that usually they don't have a problem leaving it out.
So I bought some 3AN hose and adapters to mate to the stock setup!

This should reduce the oil going into the turbo enough to stop the oil leak it was most likely causing.
I am also going to check out my crank case system since they said blowby pressure can also contribute to the problem.
:edit: Oh yeah the oil inlet in 3AN sizing costs about 14bux because I got a premade length hose
That's why it's longer.

Local hotrod speed shop called Lopers here.
They have a whole wall of AN fittings and lines.
The adapter flanges were from my turbo guys.

For my Oil inlket line I used some Silicone housed coolant line I got from them. I know this stuff won't go bad due to pressure or heat!

this is one of those things that should get archived for future reference, and or should be continued for a nice how to. Even if it's just the proper part sizes.
thanks and have a nice day.

i was wondering if you can get more flanges made up for me? i can get the AN line and fittings, i just want the flanges with appropriate bungs welded to them.
on the top of the front housing, what size are those threads for the oil supply line banjo bolt? 12mm or something?

ok some minor changes for those wanting to do this
You will be much happier with a 90 or 45degree bedn at the turbo!
Mine barely fits around the ACV area.
Also It does explain the turbo leak problem a bit.
Since the internal restrictor pill was removed it was pushing too much oil through the turbo.
The other thing which I will test is the Crankcase system. I need to make sure nothing is kinked and preventing the thing from venting.
The rear seal is not a ull seal on turbo's.
It is a semi seal which can be over run if too much oil is in it with no where to go.
The compressor side has a carbon seal which is less prone to leaking.
The turbo guys took it apart in front of me and checked everything.
