What's that Landers?? One more time for the crowd?

I don't think he's really complaining about the product, just probably frustrated with either himself about not thinking about it before hand or the fact that he's going to have a hard time just trying to find those peices. But regardless, I'm definatly happy to have the set, even if the fit is a bit tight and it doesn't accomplish as much as stock, it sure is going to be a hell of a lot better than what it's covering up, and can't beat the price. I also picked up their dash CF gauge pod, can't wait to see how that looks.

Oh, and for the people that were really complaining and whining, well, read what Landers posted and proceed to fark off.

Pics don't work, red X. :0

However, two of them you can copy the link and get to it. Imagestation is getting really pissy with hot-linking.

i think these carbon pieces are awsome,

i would love to get a cf lip for the s4, the hood and side skirts to tie the whole car together,

i just think the s4 front end is rather lame and may need something else maybe a cs type 2 bumper and a lip on that.. even a splitter would tie it all together.

would you guys be able to make a flat carbon front splitter if i mailed you a pattern? i dont think it would be expensive at all, or even better any one know where to buy a 12"x 60" piece of like 1/8" cf?

The S5 TII lip? If so, yes I would definately make a copy of it. I have the standard offer out to anyone who provides a stock S5 TII lip or FEED lip or copy that we will return the part, and give you half off a copied part.

Hope you like those, me & dave worked on getting those here to the USA & available to you for a MUCH cheaper price Dave did the hard work on making them LHD (left hand drive).

I hate those stupid "pillar pods" because you can't see around them when turning left or racing. The MASSIVE blind spot will make you hit curbs turning left if you're not careful. I think you'll like these much more

Dave,

If no one else volunteers their s5 t2 lip for reproduction, I will. Mine does have a crack in the front, but it is still the original shape and structurally sound. How long would I have to be without it?

You mean the Mazdaspeed "fat lip" right, not the little bolt on deal. I ask because I have a new OEM lip, but you'd want to re-produce it out of flexible plastic since c/f or fiberglass would spliter the first time you scrape it.

There's no shortage of bolt-on-lips from the aftermarket though.

I mean the OEM, stock, mazda s5 t2 lip, just as stated, and seen in sig below. They're said to be in very low supply from mazda, so an aftermarket source would be nice.

I just got a set of the side skirts for my vert. I mocked them up and was impressed with how they fit right out of th box. Of course there will be some work to blend it all together to malke them smooth, but overall, nice product and great price.
My 2 cents...

Mine is mint. I'll offer it up as I don't need to use it for a good while. PM me with details on what I have to do. I'd definately like to buy that replica if I get half price.

Your pictured part there is the small, 3/4" thick or so, black plastic trim piece that goes under a stock s5 nonturbo front end.

The s5 turbos all should have come with a 2" thick or so lip, that was body color. Again, see the 'vert in my signature. I can find a high res photo if you're still unsure.

[i]s5 turbos have 2" thick lip[/B]
Put me down for needing 2 of these then I bought this one because the Mazda parts book only listed this one in the ground effects kits.

Here is the thick lip we're discussing:

For the stock lip reproduction, it usually takes from 2-4 weeks to make the molds, and then have the first batch of 5 or so parts. That all depends on what else he is doing og course at the time he is making them and what else is being made etc.

For whoever wants to send their lip, here is the scoop:

Send the lip to the following address:

Speed Machine Performance
1028 Gamble Ln
Escondido, CA 92029

Once it gets here, we start the process the next time the manufacturer comes by the shop. Once the lips are finished, we offer the owner of the original either the stock lip back or a FG part free. The CF part can be sub'd in place of the FG part for 1/2 the cost. Then we ship them both to you.

Either lip would work Santiago or Kevin, someone just send one my way and we will get this baby in motion.

Personally I want to do the stock lip, as no one makes it. Others make the FEED lip and the MS lip. No one makes the stock one.

Yeah make sure to thank Clayton, because without his pods, these would have been alot harder to do and taken alot longer to do. BTW Clayton, call me or email me your address so I can return your parts

The MM pod is alot different. The JDM one can't be used to copy because of the curves and them not lining up right like the dual did. That is why it is taking longer to do. There is ALOT more time on that one.

Santiago says he doesnt need his, so I'll let him send his off. If not, get back to me and I'll do mine.

Who (other than from japan) sells the feed lip, or a copy of it, these days? I believe that wormiez guy stopped selling them?
