pics - found OEM bodykit replicas

For you NA and early TII guys, I spotted these today. Don't think this has been covered yet:

BOOSTD 7 - I don't think this conflicts with anything you guys are doing.

Nice, but there not OEM replicas. The OEM (if your refering to the 89-91 Turbo II side skirts) dont have that bump midway on it and include the mouldings as part of the skirt. The OEM ones look just like a Rx without them, except there a little more Voluptuous.

Looks damm good
not to wild

I may have to get a set only
if only it was in cheaper FB
since I would need to paint them

hmm yet CF would make for a stronger side skirt
that would resist cracking

so yes I changed my mind CF all the way!

They are replicas of the original skirts they made in FG hehe The FG versions are listed as well on that site - I didn't think the S5 skirts had that bump either. Aren't S5 skirts 2 pieces as well? Nice prices on that site.

yea I was looking at them closer now
and there not too good of a replica at all
they do not wrap around the fenders like they do with the S5 skirts..I dislike that gap these replicas have on the fenders and also those humps , plus they dont go up to/include the s5 moldings

Does anyone know if you can still get the stock side steps from the factory? If so, how much are they...are they easily acquired or are they nearly extinct?

Kabooski, they'd look fine if painted to match the car. Now for that white on black look like above, you'd want to fix those nitpicks though

I have no loot right now so it does me no good (thx though...maybe sometime soon). I just wanted to know to see how those really stacked up to the stock ones. I looked at them about a week ago and was extremely happy cuz I want my car to look stock for the most part. That's not a bad deal at all...not at all. BTW...asherwood where did you get your mindtrain stuff? I haven't seen that in forever and nobody seems to know what happened to them.

I didn't realize they also had them in fiberglass. Didn't make much sense to me to buy the (what I thought would be expensive) cf pieces and paint over them. But the fiberglass on the other hand...well I just ordered a set...to paint white For only $200, I though they might be worth a gamble.

I would pay a premium for a stock S5 TII lip or a copy of the FEED lip.

You can still get the factory stock lip, but only in a few colors.
As for the side skirts, they are no longer available from factory, you have to find them used, but they're not cheap. I paid $300 for a used set, then spent another $400 having them repaired, painted, and installed.

I think the skirts pictured above look like they would fit an FB, they kinda look too small on that FC, imo.
