Picked up an Turbo FC *pics*

Ok This used to be my friend's car, but me and paul from himni racing did nearly all the work on it. The whole turbo swap, everything. Now he blew that engine and was wanting to sell the car. He sold it to me for 600 bucks. He kept the turbo and the HRFL blow-off valve. The rest was mine though. So I bought it at the wonderful price. Full custom exhaust, blown rear-rotor, and a custom driveshaft. The engine I'm going to give to paul for a core engine. But this whole time I have a turbo engine that I was gonna stick in my frist gen that will now go into the FC.

am i the only one seeing the fact that it still has the TMIC and theres no vent for it? it seems that would make a bit of a problem in high boost situations. but maybe im just talking out of my ***

We thought that would be a big problem, but at stock boost it didn't cause any problems. Also we grabbed the windshield washer nozzle and stuck them on the intercooler.

me and a paul from himni racing did the engine swap. we did all the labor for free cause he was a friend. but with exhaust, the driveshaft, turbo engine and tranny (s-5) and everything to make the car run right, gauges, etc. it was around 1800-2000 to get it all in and done.

Nice grab, but I would throw a FMIC or T2 hood on there when you get your new motor in.. I'm pretty sure one of the causes as to why it blew was not having the vent for the IC. Well good luck on your new project.
