Reverse lights don't work

Reverse lights don't work but the bulbs are good please help thanx

Try checking the connection near the tranny. Think it's a red-wire.

i dont have any either. they only work when they want to. i THINK its the connection to the tranny. what is the part again?

yes, check the tranny harness and check for bad connections. there isn't much to diagnosing the reverese lights.

as covered countless times, the FC, FD and NA (firt gen Miata) manual trannies occasionally have problems with the reverse light switch gumming up internally and failing,

If the wires are connected then using a relay often helps, or you will need to replace the switch.
