I'd pm hIGGI. He's got a penchant for displaying pics. Also, RETed was just up where hIGGI lives wiring a heap of them. PM aswell.

What do you need pics of?

The manual explains it all to you...

Thanks hIGGI and silverrotor. I'll go through it today at work

And adamlewis... your comments are unneccesary. I don't have a manual, nor do I have a haltech. I want to know what I'm getting into, what has to be removed, what has to be spliced, etc.

Hey man...First off, just chill out a little. I wasnt attacking you. My comments were necessary because Im trying to figure out what you want. I took a bunch of pictures when I installed mine and I was going to try to help you. If youre gonna get all defensive with me right off the bat, then forget it.

Nothing "has" to be removed. The only thing I can think of off the bat that has to be spliced is the Haltech injector leads into your old injector clips ( The clips that came with mine didnt fit so I had to use my stock ones ). All the other sensor for the Haltech, I got new so there was no splicing needed. The only real pain was finding a machine shop that could tap my intake elbow and water pump housing.

The install is pretty easy, but if youve never read a wiring diagram, or if soldering wires together is all kinda iffy to you, Id get some help.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the help... but the whole "RTFM" attitude is not appreciated. As I said, I just need to know what has to be removed, what has to be spliced... etc.

Thanks

lol dude, I wasnt saying RTFM. I was just letting you know that the manual does have a wiring diagram in the back. Its really easy to overlook. In fact, I did that at first and only found it halfway through the install.

I know we may not have gotten along in the past, but to be honest with you, I dont really give two ***** about the past. People will disagree and argue and thats life. You learn from it and move on. If you want to hold a grudge and come to me with this pessimistic attitude, feel free. But if you do, Ill just refrain from ever offering my helping hand.

If you want to be a little more mature about it, realize its just the internet, and drop it; Ill be more than happy to answer any questions you have about the Haltech install.

I used the stock wideband part of the TPS and it works fine. Ive been running on Hitmans base map since it was installed too. Never got it to a dyno though to see what the A/F was exactly. I know it was pretty damn rich though.
