Yeah sure. You'd be better off buying a Civic if you think RE-Amemiya parts are ugly. I guess it's dumb when a company who competes in top level japanese racing series uses a wind-tunnel to make their parts.

Awesome to look at or awesome to use?

I've heard a few people complain that the aero mirrors don't offer great rear visibility due to size and placement. That said, like most things once you get used to them they are probably ok. How do you find them compared to stock?

 

Thats a bit closed minded, considering the mirrors dont really flow with the shape of the car. So what i'm saying is, they aren't for everyone. I'm half and half with them, i think they look good painted black so they dissapear, like on BLUETII's monster/sleeper FC.

IMO on your car; they look like cancer lumps or what a person would look like if they had their ears chopped off and had new half-assed ones made through plastic surgery

 

Are you saying that anything aerodynamic is not ugly? I don't understand the hype about people with aero mirrors. How do you like your car now that its been corner weighted and the suspension set up accordingly? Because if its not then those mirrors are a ricer mod because You spent money else where that could have been used to do something that would actually make a difference on a track, and that you couldn't resist being jDm tYtE.

I made no comment about anything aerodynamic being beautiful. I'm talking about one aero part in the millions of aero parts in the world. Again, the poster wanted a pic and what type. I informed, then insulters showed up. You are acting as if I'm the agressor when I'm simply defending the poster. Oh well.

Funny you should say that about my suspension, it actually was setup in japan, lol. Infact, everything on my car is JDM because it is a Japanese import. But yeah, I guess a full re-amemiya aero kit, widebody fenders, mazdaspeed 2 piece forged rays wheels, cusco coilovers and upgraded sway bars is pretty rice.

Perhaps one of you would be willing to trade ? Preferably the artic silver rx7 with black molding....


Nick86: aero mirrors do have a reduced mirror area than stock, but not by a lot. However, I have since replaced the mirrors with slightly convex blue tinted mirrors in the assembly to compensate.

 

the link dont work no more, but i was looking for pics of OEM JDM aero mirrors on a FC. pimpdaddy7835 showed the pic then sumone post one of the re mirrior then went off track. but anyhow heres the link to the pic of the mirriors

I think some RE-Amemiya parts are ugly as hell. That doesn't mean I should be driving a Civic. Just because a top level company does something or sells something that doesn't make it good looking. The mirrors might be aerodynamic, but they're still ugly.
