THere are no turbo kits available. There is a link to one in the FAQ thread but I have yet to see anyone buy it so I wouldn't risk it.

IF you really want to turbo your N/a it will cost you more money and more trouble than going out and buying a Turbo II. That is what is mostly suggested for you. Sell your N/a and buy a Turbo II walk away with less frustration and more money in your pocket.

Santiago

PS- the best HP you can hope for is 200whp out of a fully moded N/a. I mean the works. Every mod you can think of for power and a lot of money.

nah, keep the n/a, buy the camden supercharger or wait until this summer and buy the turbocharger kit form fcstore.com by dave gibson. and you can get more than 200 hp out of a fully moded n/a, come on. seriously, rebuild, port, pineapple sleeves, header and catback, intake, that's 2 plus. and you have plenty of options to persue even after that. you will have no shortage of places to spend your money after that either.

I think he's asking more about "bolt on" mods.

Easy.

Get a header/downpipe and presilencer (not a cat-just a real cool straight pipe)

I think that's about 500 plus shipping.

That's the most noticible performance upgrade I've done.

Then maybe later you can get into all that crazy supercharging ****.

For all of those who apparently CANNOT READ, he asked what can he do to improve performance without adding a turbo.

To answer that, intake and exhaust make the most drastic improvements. If you cannot afford a full exhaust system and dont have to worry about emissions, atleast get a header. Also check to make sure your 5th/6th port acutators are working properly.

Oh ya, and SEARCH.

searching sucks. header, hi flo cat, cat back, kn filter, new spark plugs/ wires, port, light flywheel, and you're looking pretty good.

Ok we could have newbies come on every week and ask the same damn question, or we could remind them of the search function, which works quite well.

I know many people who are members that never post because all they do is search for the info they need.

But BDoty, if ppl searched all the time we wouldn't have high post counts like we do, and we all know that the higher the post count the smarter the person is
Do you live in am area that has emmissions testing? If so you might beable to get 200 at the flywheel. If you have no testing you could get about 200 at the wheels, but this would require a carb intake manifold (IDA would get you more peak power) with either carbs, or preferably the IDA manifold with 2 50mm IDA style throttle bodies and a standalone EMS like Wold3d, Haltech, Mictotech... also alot of $$$
