Unhappy People with rebuilt or replaced TII motors

How much did you pay and where did you get it from?
Also what type of mods did you have done if you had it built to your own personal specs (please itemize the list of mods if possible).

Self rebuilt. About 1100 to 1200 bucks. No mods.Mazdatrix was the source of the parts. They have not screwed up an order YET. Keep up the good work MAZDATRIX.

Atkins Rotary

Ok, I went with Atkins Rotary. $1750 for the rebuild and $300 for the streetporting. $200 for the gasket kit. Then a lot of money for other misc. crap. Take a look at my mod list. That is what I have done. It can get very expensive very quick.

Just plan and PLAN A BUDGET. That will help you. Get a plan of action. What do you want with your car? How do you want to get it. How much money can you spend to get it there.

My engine has a 2 year 24,000 mile warrenty. And I installed it my self. Saved a lot of money that way and learned a great deal about my car.

What you see on my mod list minus the N1 dual is during the engine install.

Just don't cut corners on the install. You will pay for it latter. Maybe not in money.

Still waiting on my Jspec. That will be $1000 plus about $200 shipping. I'll then rebuild it just to clean/freshen it up. $150 for Hurley apex seals, $130 for internal gasket set. Probably another $200 for miscellaneous stuff. I'll borrow a porting template from a friend.
