Angry PD banjo bolt: am i retarded?

I've looked and looked. It doesnt seem to me that it would be that hard to find a banjo bolt other than the one at summit racing. I would buy that one, if it wasnt for the $9 "handling charge". Makes it like 16 dollars for a damn bolt and i think thats crazy. Is there anywhere else i can find one? I think i read that a banjo bolt of an N/A fuel rail will fit... Is that true? I can grab one off the N/A at the junkyard if so. Thanks everybody i'm going insane trying to get my car together before the end of the school year for my senior project.

I know shipping is an issue but IMO these guys are the best to but direct fit AN fittings for your fuel rails.

http://www.anplumbing.com/shop/index...=Fuel!_Adapter

Here is a pic of the direct fitment adapters from their site. Unfortunately when it comes to working on the car, nothing is cheap.

I think that's what he was looking for. Oddly enough, I found it in a post you (rotorforce) made on another thread... $1 junkyard > shiny blue one for $6 + shipping

its $16 for an anodized hardened bolt that may save your car. IMO don't be so damned cheap. maybe you can find it cheaper but is a few bucks really going to kill you? maybe the few dollars saved spent on McD's will though..

if you really insist on being cheap then go raid a wrecking yard and remove the stock banjo bolt off the primary fuel line.

just taking one off the other end of a primary fuel rail is fine I've seen lots of people do it with success

If it's good enough for my primary fuel line why is it unsafe on the secondary...

I don't really see what you're getting at, but anywho. Seems like wasted money to buy one if you have access to a primary fuel rail.

Hm. I actually have an extra TII fuel rail, but i only took the bolt off of the secodary fuel rail and realized it didnt fit, i didnt even think to check the other one.. The one on the primary DOES fit for sure?

And... dont be so cheap??? come on, give me a break i've already spent all my money on it and i'm only 18 and still in highschool, i'm just trying to get her going. There's lots of things i still need to buy still and i'm quite broke as it is- too broke to justify spending 20 dollars on a friggin bolt. If you can get it cheaper, why not?

what are you talking about? he said PD banjo bolt, this has nothing to do with the secondary fuel rail at all.

Maybe not... The bolt on my primary is definitely the exact same size as on the secondary- neither of them fit where the PD goes.

Either the turbo rails are different than the NAs or my car is just special. I may have found one at a local hydraulic shop, however. See? There's no need to spend more money than you have to.

Like i said, the secondary inlet and primary outlet are the same. Maybe the s4 is different and youre talking about an s5? I dont know, all i know is niether of the bolts on my fuel rail are the same as the PD thread pitch and size.
