I have been putting the Shine kit on my vert and it and all the other parts related are black. Test fitting, it actually suggests that two tone might look okay.
Black from the rub/trim strip down. Sunrise Red up from the trim strip, of course with the black top.
So, am I stuck in the 80's by thinking that the two tone looks good, or is two tone coming back and contemporary???

Personally a two-tone (although I gotta say Im personally a sucker for a red S4, gotta love red n' black!) can be made to look excellent.
depending on exactly how you divide it, it should look great. The sounds of a black bottom and mouldings with red upper and the black top does sound appealing.....
I think though on a coupe you'd need to leave the bottom red, just make the roof black from perhaps belt mouldings up...however since this is a vert, the black rrof is taken care of and the black paint on the bottom would compliment it nicely...
go for it man!

Im torn, your description sounds nice, and I have a friend with a 2 tone first gen which looks good but I work near a Jaguar dealership and all their 2 tones make me cringe. I personally wouldnt do it, but it definitely would be unique.
nice p-chop takahashi, nice and clean, i like the look of two tone, i was thinking about doing it to my coupe. does anyone have a copy of photoshop they would be willing to burn onto a CD i wouldnt register it, i just havent played on photoshop in a while and would love to tinker with my car on that. BTW sorry to hijack.

Hmm, just don't know. Probably would look much better with the top up, and the side skirts and front end on it.
Thanks for the chop though!

looks very 80's Ferrari and Porsche. To each his own (or her own) get me a BIG image and I will creat a (near) perfect duplicate with you desired mods.
Sent you a PM with my Email attached so You can send me a Large picture.

I think the FC trimline is too high for a black bottom. I've always wondered what 2-tone would look like with black on the top, from the crease on up, and whatever color on the bottom (side moulding would be body color), similar to the older eclipses.
