Camden makes Superchargers for the FC..3,299 bucks..I think..(www.atkinsrotary.com) .See what Mike Merryguy has from *Touch*,and if there is a Sticker on his Charger that he can get info off of..(see *Touch*'s old For Sale thread..Supercharger for sale.)
I can get some info off of it, but not for like a month though, I think you can get a paxton still but not a SN89 HO, I was googling around the internet and found some paxtons for sale, you will not find a KIT for the FC though but from the looks of the parts you can source them and piece together a kit yourself. if you search for post by *TOUCH* or search for PAXTON you will find alot on this forum and *TOUCH* has an excel sheet on here somewhere that I have on my desktop at home with a list of basic parts you need.
I can't wait to install mine and go play, the n/a is fast w/out any upgrades, I love to get high revs and hit my little 146 hp, I am hoping to get around 250 or so once I get it all upgraded which will be really nice, but that is a pretty high number to go for, we will see what happens, hopefully my tuner has a good dyno and I can get some good pulls to see what I have...

i don't want turbo... there are a million turbos on the road, i am more of a one of a kind kinda guy, and i know its not one of a kind there are many fc's that have a s/c but each one is unique in its own way.. i am not sure anyone has used a water/air ic setup so i may be ther first to try that out and i am going to do it the correct way all the way so it should be a decent setup with nice low end power.. the n/a has decent top end anyway so i just want something to help get me there faster, now this kit isn't totaly designed for low end but it will help out, i plan on getting an fd later on in life so i will have plenty of fun with a turbo then, plus my father in law has a 94 r2 that i can drive anytime i like so its all good

From: We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
i don't think a thousand people even have a paxton so no, I don't think that your guestamation is correct.
I meant most people with a supercharger go with water injection or no
intercooling whatsoever
i am sure there are well into the BILLIONS of people that have used water ic..
man where u get your statistics anyway??
but yea individuality is key my friend can't agree with you more there

Technically it blows.
A centrifugal supercharger like the Paxton is designed for the high end, not the low end. Ironically, a turbocharger will boost faster than a centrifugal supercharger. The main advantage of a centrifugal supercharger is that it gradually boosts as the engine rpm increases which eliminates the laggy feel and the sudden boost of a turbo, which helps on slick roads or during precision driving like autocrossing. If you were looking for something like a Roots blower that will add a lot of torque to the low end and/or win drag races, you will be sadly disappointed in the Paxton.

yea i know how it works
now obviously it is going to increase top end, but it will STILL provide SOME boost at low end wich IS an upgrade considering its N/A now...

My 2 cents.....
I have a '90 vert with this supercharger kit.
I bought the car from pianoprodigy, he posted the following -

So the SC works, but it is no comparison to a single turbo setup.
I plan on replacing the SC with a turbo at some point in the future.

I've Always been drawn to a SC setup, go do if ya want. You should probably wait till the engine blows so you can go ahead and port it out too, I mean mega port. If you're going to carb it, go with a peripheral port, a big carb and enjoy the ride! That really takes the DDability out of it though...
