passing smog check

hey can i pass smog if my car idles round 1200 RPMs?

you should prolly fix that, the idle test might be kinda hard to pass with that

yah check the FSM it will tell you how to set/adjust your idle with the TPS and screw on back of the bac if i recall

hmm yah maybe your bac is screwed up then, have you tried taking it out and cleaning it? that might help

do you guys know what you can get away with in california regarding modded TIIs (smog) Specifically what mods cause poor emissions. What if you put a giant cat in there? I want to get a TII but i dont know what i can do with CA harsh regulations. I guess i could always move to another state. HA

i dunno much about CA emissions, all i know is that my n/a couldnt pass WA emissions, so im getting a PO box in an area that has no requirements heh... from what i've heard CA can be hard, but as long as you keep all your emissions equipment on the car and functioning properly you'll be fine

Since I've owned a rotary..i've always paid for my smogs (now its up to $200) ....if ya get my drift....actually I can't think of any car I ever owned passing smog.

Its around $250+ for the "Test Only" though...its getting really friggin hard....I may have to sell my 2nd gen and put the setup in my 2
