Parts Washer

Like the title says im looking into buying a parts washer. anyone have experience with this as i have absolutely zero knowledge on this . I justed checked northern tools website for those of who have one in your area they have water base washer and solvent base washer. imlooking pros and cons on both. Also any member who has used both at some point time please share your experience as well. thanks for help everyone.

I have the small Harbor tool parts washer. Uses only waterbased. I have had good results cleaning up really greasy parts.

thanks i decided to go with that to couldnt find a solvent based one at a reasonable price water base it is.

I have one of the larger harbor frieght ones I bought while rebuilding my engine, it works pretty well. one thing I would recommend is this:

Amazon.com: Nesco Tools 3601 Flow-Thru Parts Cleaning Brush: Automotive Amazon.com: Nesco Tools 3601 Flow-Thru Parts Cleaning Brush: Automotive

you hook it onto the faucet and the cleaner comes out of the brush.

I used heavy duty simple green in mine:
Simple Green 128 oz. Pro HD Professional-Grade Heavy-Duty Cleaner-2110000413421 at The Home Depot
