I have the small Harbor tool parts washer. Uses only waterbased. I have had good results cleaning up really greasy parts.

I have one of the larger harbor frieght ones I bought while rebuilding my engine, it works pretty well. one thing I would recommend is this:

Amazon.com: Nesco Tools 3601 Flow-Thru Parts Cleaning Brush: Automotive Amazon.com: Nesco Tools 3601 Flow-Thru Parts Cleaning Brush: Automotive

you hook it onto the faucet and the cleaner comes out of the brush.

I used heavy duty simple green in mine:
Simple Green 128 oz. Pro HD Professional-Grade Heavy-Duty Cleaner-2110000413421 at The Home Depot
