overheating problem and hard starting

alright, the hard starting is probably just a rotary thing....probably out of timing again... but it's a real pain to get started, gotta take the plugs out, clean em, unflood the engine 80% of the time, then it'll run.

the car is also overheating into the red after about 10-15min. of running, wether idling or driving...

it's an '87 gxl btw.

Do you have to keep refilling your coolant?
Did it suddenly start or has it slowly been getting worse and worse?

Could be that is is so hard to start b/c there is water/antifreeze in the engine.
Try this, but search for more info about water seals O rings (still not sure what they are called)

i just got the car, i've tried running `block sealer` through the coolant system, thinking it was blowing compression into the coolant system. and yeah my overfill tank blows out steam and water..... not sure if theres water in the engine, unless it's coming out as a fine mist....

These are classic symptoms of a blown engine (bad water seals). Have the cooling system pressure checked to make sure coolant is not leaking into the engine...
