sounds like the symptoms I was having. you either have a leak somwhere in the cooling system hosing, or a coolant seal failure.

have u noticed a drop in coolant lately when the motor wasnt overheating? sounds like what jono says, coolant seal failure

sounds strange to me that ur resivoir is boiling, mine was boiling becuase the e-fan had stopped working and started to overheat my engine, so i went back to the stocker

check over your hoses and that the clamps are all tight

Sounds like coolant seal failure. You cannont smell exhaust gas in your coolant, you have to test for it, you can buy the tester at Napa.

It's very difficult to understand what you aer saying due to lack of punctuation, sentences, etc.

However, the first step in troubleshooting the cooling system is to look at http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/cooling.htm . Since you mentioned it seems to be eating coolant, then as suggested, it does sound like an internal leak.

One of the first things is that you may want to try putting your thermostat back in. Do a search, but IIRC removing the thermostat actually results in less coolant going through the block - it essentially recirculates from the water pumb back to the radiator.

At least that's the way it is on the FD.

One easy test is to remove both of your leading plugs and rotate the engine backward. If coolant comes out of either of the holes then you have a bad coolant seal. You need to do this after the car has sat for a while.
However it does not rule out a bad coolant seal if there is not any signs of coolant in the combustion chambers. We have seen many rotarys where the coolant seal retaining wall has deteriorated allowing exhaust gas into the coolant system but still holding the coolant back from flooding the chamber.
