Ordering a BOV today need help...

Ok I know this has been asked many times but here we go anyway.

Im ordering a BOV from rx7store and a Apexi Intake.

I need help choosing which BOV would go best with the intake. I want it to be noticable and of good quality.

So its either Apexi, Blitz , Greddy or HKS help me decide

Thanks

do you have abs in your rexy? cause the apexi bov will sit right up against the lines coming out of the hydraulic pump. thats the only draw back that i found.

apexi

I also have the APEXi dual chamber BOV, no complaints here except that it doesn't fit so good if you still have your ABS. (see http://prax.s5.com for more details in the project section of the MYRX7 section). its not as loud as most of the ones I have heard, but it still sounds nice and is enough to get an odd look when you blow it off in town with people on the sidewalks.

i know what you mean the dsm's sound real good but you wont get the same sound. i have a series4 turbo and at low boost/rpms its not very loud but high boost like 8 and up you can here it a few car lengths away. maybe with your series 5 turbo you can get that air flowing at low boost so that it gives a good SWOOOOOSH! love that sound

you can skip the apexi intake and buy a kone filter for 40 bucks dude. then all you have to do is the tid mod and you dont need an adopter plate since you have a series 5 TII. the kone will clamp right on to your afm. whats the apexi kit going for 145 bucks or sumthin like that?

Its 145 but I read the test it had with the skyline and it gave 14hp. Will just a normal cone do that also?

i think so! if you got the money to spend....**** it buy it cause it does look good! but if your trying to cut corners then you can go another route. thats all im saying! **** i spent $135 on my bonez intake, all it was was your basic kone with an adopter plate (what a rip off). just somethin to think about!

this is what im thinking for ya! get a cheapy kone (45 bucks) then take that 100 bucks you save and get an aluminum 3 in, pipe with a nice 45 degree bend and some connectors form home depot and cut that pipe to fit snug with the afm and kone attached. then your gonna have some air flowing!! thats what i did and trust me it'll be much better than that apexi intake!
