Oppinion on the value of a car....
Ok I have been waiting for the longest time to get this dead or possibly dead TII from a freind but it is really run down and needs a lot of work. So far it has a missing rear wing, tps, pressure sensor, alternator, wheels, tires, clutch slave, AFM, ECU, driver's side fender, and steering wheel. Other than all of that it has an N/a hood instead of a TII hood which I will need to find or swap back and the S5 tails were swaped to S4's because my friend wanted the S5's.
OF the parts that it is missing I have an AFM, ECU, wheels, tires, alternator, and steering wheel to put in it. The S5 tails aren't really crucial since I am parcial to the S4's anyways. The N/a hood is a problem since I need the TII hood for the stock IC. But I may find a way to front mount the stocker and not waist money for shipping on the hood. The interior is said to be in ok to good condition. I have yet to see it so I can't speak for it other that what I am told.
The engine has a 50-50 chance of being blown. It could have just been blown but it could have been flooded also.
Given its status, while keeping in mind that this is the only TII for sale within ~300 mile radius of me, how much would you pay for it. I am thinking in the 300-400 dollar range.

youve got almost 1500$ your ganna have to throw at the car just to get it running with stock used parts that are missing. that coupled with a blown motor, your looking anywhere from 700-1500$ for a rebuild. id buy it as a parts car, but knowing that most the good parts are gone. or if your really dead set on getting it to run. get a stand alone, and a rebuild. that would probally save you some money in all honstey compared to going back to stock. but i wouldnt pay more than 300$ for it, probally around 100ish. thats just saying that a stock Tii IMO isnt worth more than 700$-1500$ with a blown motor. and it dont sound like this car is a beauty queen either

Most of my friends online say that I should use it for a TII swap. But I am not going to deface two good cars. The car's body is perfect there hasn't been any damage to it so given that it is in slightly beter shape than my Sport which suffered several low speed impacts.
But I am buying it to make it what it is suppossed to be once again. A TII. Its a full restoration project which will bring the exterior to full a Full S5 TII perhaps with the exception of the tails because I like the S4's. But mechanically I would care less if it was blown or not. It is one of 4 Turbo Rx-7's including the Two FD's in town and James car. I couldn't find a good TII if I wanted to and if I could it would cost me well over 3 grand to get it so I might aswell undertake a restoration project and learn about the FC's TII version and perhaps even how to rebuild the engine. I have already pulled and dismantled one FC engine I don't mind going through it again.
Most of what you all said is what I expected with the exception of J-rat but I could have guessed he would say that because he can find an FC in his part of the country with little effort. If I see it and the interior is in good shape I will probably leave 350-400 be my max offering for it.
