I have heard about Amsoil, Royal Purple, Red line, and others I can't remember but I want you all's oppinions on which is better and what other ones you have used so that you know how others compare. Thanks

When I first bought my 87 base, I changed the tranny and diff fluid and it took a tad more than 3 quarts. The rear end has two bolts on the back of it where it looks ribbed. Unscrew the lower bolt to drain, then reinstall it, unbolt the upper one and fill to the bottom of the hole, reinstall the bolt and you are done. If you have a limited slip differential, you will need either a special oil or additive for your oil.

AMSOIL IS THE KING OF ALL FLUIDS. NO ONE HAS THE RACING BACKGROUND AND TESTING EXPERIENCE THEY DO. THEIR FLUIDS, ESPECIALLY IN THE TRANSMISSION MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE.
