yes. brings back so many fond memories. i ran open header a few times, my Dad used to tell me he could hear me coming from about a mile and a half away. pedestrians were not pleased. there was no way i could live with that on a long term basis.

now there was a time when i ran with my header and one presilencer (Rotary Engineering) for a few weeks as i decided what i wanted to do with my exhaust, it was loud. i remember catching the attention of a motorcycler rider one night going up the Bronx River Parkway at full throttle ... mmmm. i think even in my old age now, i could probably live with that as a weekend cruiser - but unlike New York, it just probably wouldn't fly very well with the nosy ****** down here in Florida. god, i can't wait to move back home ...
