Only 6 pounds of Boost at WOT??
Yeah I just installed my autometer boost gauge and every time it just stops at 6 psi, it hits it at like 4k rpms, and stays there all the way to 7k rpms, I do have a precat, but no main cat and straight through mufflers.
could my precat be cloged?

yeah chuck that pre-cat. its a definate boost restriction. im not sure if thats the only reason, but its definatley a big one. make sure your gauge is reading properly. check the vac line and make sure its not pinched anywhere, has a good pressure source, etc.

yea, so, i run about 10psi on the stock turbo, which is scary because it is an s4, and sometimes i get a spike, but a low one, and i'm just waiting on the cash to do a hybrid on my japspec s5 thats riding in the pass seat floor board. Waste gate will open at aprox 6 psi, and i got the avcr to controll it.........
