which one is it?.?.?

I was looking at therxseven.com site and it was saying that a 2nd Gen ran 15.3 in the 1/4 and another site says that it runs roughly 16.4 in the 1/4. Does anyone know the 1/4 mile time for sure on a 2nd Gen non turbo?? My friend just got a 92 Firebird and he likes to talk a lot of trash and he doesnt know his 1/4 mile time. so if anyone could help me out that would be great!!!

thanks!!!

oh.. and by the way.. i searched for awhile and i just couldnt come up with anything that i was 100% sure about..

NA S4 = 15.5
NA S5 = 15.3

According to: http://rx7.voodoobox.net/infofaq/rx7specs.html

Though I'm sure its mostly dependent on mods and the driver.

Those numbers are OK for a totally stock car... most N/A fc's here are in the 15's or better..

Generally, if you have an S5 with a free flow intake and exhaust.. you're in the 15's easy (I was!!!!)

New with under 50k miles, mid to high 15s, over 100k miles and 15 years old? Think low 16s to high 16s on average, if it's kept up to par and has some basic mods, then it'll probably be back to the mid 15s. Chances are, the Firebird will beat it, not by much (they're both pretty damn slow), but it will.

Well weight reduction would be a start, possibly an SAFC to lean it out a bit or a megasquirt. Then more serious things like porting or lighter flywheel.
