OMP Equipped for Premixing?

I heard good stuff about premixing and want to try it on my FC. I'm looking to get Idemitsu Premix and heard to use 1/2 oz. for every 1 gallon of gas for cars equipped with an omp. I'm not sure if my 90 GXL came with an oil metering pump or not. My FC is pretty much stock with a few mods.

Why are you wanting to premix with the stock metering oil system? Do you track the car often??

Of course it came with a MOP. (An electric one, to be a bit more specific.)

The overall impression I got from reading on the forum is:

OMP: Good for daily driving loads, inefficient at high throttle load.
Premix: Good for racing purposes, but can be detrimental to the engine due to 0% duty cycle while coasting.

Right now I'm premixing 1oz per gallon because my injectors are clogged and there are more critical areas on the car I need to allot my funds to. I just have to drive like an a**hat in the meantime.

More critical than the injectors that not only fuel your engine, but lubricate it too?! Other than safety... What takes precedence over engine reliability?

I understood that premixing was a perfectly valid method of lubricating the apex seals, and this is my daily driver, and the engine only needs to hold compression another year or so. And it was the oil injectors, not the fuel injectors that are clogged. I should have been a bit more specific, but since we were talking about oik injection i thought it was a given, sorry.

I have been using Idemitius pre mix for at least 8 years. I have no complaints about the product. I see nothing wrong by having an extra step for our cars. 186,000 miles on my 91N/A and still going strong.

After seeing the Spray pattern for the oil injectors on a Blown engine(just a line of oil on the rotor),I am very comfortable with premixing.

Apparently Mazda had issues with weird, premature wear on the apex seals when they went to two injectors per rotor (at the edges vs the middle). They ended-up with three injectors per rotor, which ended-up mimicking premix.

but there still is the fact that when you let off the gas, the injector duty cycle goes to zero and nothing gets sprayed into the engine. Though I just realized that I've always take the car out of gear and let the engine idle when I was coasting.

I blew apex seals so the motor had to come apart, and my motor had minimal wear (aside from the one housing that chewed up some seal pieces) and was quite clean after 20k+ hard driven miles premixing. I will premix forever, this **** works.
